Peter C. Hayes MBChB, BMSc, MD, PhD

Professor Hayes qualified from Dundee in 1980. Obtained MD and PhD during training and worked in King’s College Liver Unit, London, before working as a Lecturer, then Senior Lecturer, and finally Professor of Hepatology in Edinburgh. The main research interests are viral hepatitis, liver transplantation, and portal hypertension.
