Peter Byloos MD

Peter has worked in healthcare industries across Europe; as an investor, as a CEO, and as a functional lead. He currently is the CEO of Optegra, a UK based international Eyecare provider with more than 25 clinics across Europe. He has a medical degree from the University of Leuven and holds a Master of Science in Management from the Boston University. His previous experiences include time as Partner in the healthcare arm of private equity firm Gimv, as CEO and President of Handicare Group in Norway, and as President, EMEA at medical devices and therapeutics company, CR Bard. Peter began his career at Stryker in Belgium. Peter sits also on the board of H. Hart Lier, a public hospital in Belgium as well as Biomup, a public biotech company on Euronext.
