Peter Bogaty MD

Dr. Peter Bogaty obtained his degree in medicine from Liège University (Belgium). He trained in Internal Medicine at Laval University (Quebec City). He trained in Cardiology at both the University of Montreal and Laval University. He then did fellowship training in coronary artery disease at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School (Hammersmith Hospital, London, UK) with professor Attilio Maseri.

He is a specialist in Cardiology and Internal Medicine recognized by the Quebec College of Physicians, the Quebec Federation of Medical Specialists, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. Doctor Bogaty is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Laval University.

He was chief of cardiology at the Quebec Heart Institute (Laval Hospital) from 1999 to 2003. He is scientific advisor of the Cardiology Unit at INESSS, the Quebec healthcare evaluation agency. In addition to his clinical and hospital experience, Doctor Bogaty is active in cardiology research. He has published extensively in top journals in medicine and cardiology.
