Pete Morgan

Providing expert advice and guidance to the management and governance structures within Advance UK and chairing the Safeguarding Panel which monitors, evaluates and analyses safeguarding performance within the organisation.

Pete Morgan is Chair and Board of Trustees, PASAUK and Independent Chair, Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board Practitioners Alliance for Safeguarding Adults Having qualified as a Social Worker in 1980, Pete Morgan has worked in residential, intermediate treatment and community services, including being an ASW. His management posts have included a juvenile justice team, both generic and adult patch teams, and commissioning care services from the independent and voluntary sectors, before he became the Vulnerable Adult Protection Coordinator in Coventry in 2003.

From 2008 to 2010 he was the Head of Service – Safeguarding Adults for Birmingham Adults and Community Services. He is now the Independent Chair, Worcestershire Safeguarding Adults Board, the Chair of PAVAUK and he currently chairs the CPS West Midlands Hate Crime Scrutiny Panel.
