Periklis Giovas got his medical degree from Athens University School of Medicine. He was trained as an internist at the 3rd University Department of Internal Medicine (Sotiria Hospital). His PhD was focused on pediatric hypertension.
He joined the pharmaceutical medicine field in Greece in 2009. Today, he is Clinical Research Medical Director in Amgen European Headquarters (Switzerland) for Cardiovascular. He also brings 23 years of experience in Telemedicine and e-Health from several projects including emergency telecardiology, home telecare and respiratory tele-rehabilitation. He has also published 4 books, one focused on Telemedicine in Clinical Practice, two on Hypertension Management and one on Atrial Fibrillation.
