Prof Per Torp Sangild is a Professor within Comparative Paediatrics and Nutrition at the University of Copenhagen. His research focus is on clinical nutrition and developmental gastroenterology using his extensive experience with animal models for infants. He also heads NEOMUNE, an international research network that investigates milk and microbiota effects on immunity, gut and brain development.
Prof Per Torp Sangild obtained several qualifications from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark; Master of Agricultural Science (MSc); Doctor of Animal Physiology (PhD); Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVSc) and Doctor of Human Medicine (DMSc).
