Penny Paliadelis PhD

Professor Penny Paliadelis is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health at Federation University Australia. Her discipline background is nursing and her PhD explored leadership roles in nursing, with a particular focus on the challenges that face rural nurse managers. Penny has a particular interest in research that focuses on collaborative interprofessional health education, rural workforce capacity-building, leadership and management in health contexts. Penny has researched and published widely and attracted a number of external grants to support this work. Penny is an Executive member of the Council of Deans of Nursing and Midwifery (Australia and New Zealand, and a Member of the Australian Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) Register of Experts.
She has expertise in developing and delivering accredited health programs offered both online and via blended learning delivery modes across a range of health professions. She has a reputation for encouraging and supporting scholarly and research collaborations within and across health disciplines in partnership with colleagues and doctoral students in academic and clinical settings
