Penny Moss qualified as a physiotherapist at Brunel University, London in 1998, having worked as a teacher for 10 years. She worked in the UK NHS hospital for 2 years before emigrating to Perth and working at Royal Perth Hospital for 6 years, focussing mainly on neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal outpatients, with some burns and medical thrown in. She completed The Curtin Master of Manipulative Therapy in 2004 and worked part-time in private practice (musculoskeletal) between 2004 and 2010. She began working for Curtin School of Physiotherapy part-time in 2004 as a research assistant and then as a lecturer in Professional Practice and manual therapy units.
