Penny Heaton is Director of Vaccine Development and Surveillance within Global Health at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, supporting vaccine development against several diseases including HIV, TB, malaria, pneumonia, enteric diseases, and polio. She is also responsible for cross-cutting biosurveillance activities.
