Pauline hails from Australia and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy and Master's Degree in Social Science, International Development. Prior to joining WHO she worked at Nossal Institute for Global Health at University of Melbourne where she undertook lecturing, research, program management and technical assistance roles in disability and public health. Pauline had previously worked for international non-government organisations and spent two years managing a Community-based rehabilitation programme in Malawi, Africa. Pauline has worked in the disability sector for over twenty years; this has included early-childhood intervention services, special education and rehabilitation services in paediatric and adult hospital settings.
