Paula Bedregal PhD

Paula Bedregal has a PhD in Psychology, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC). She is also an MSc Health Systems Management and Policy, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine; research fellow in Health Policy and Management, Imperial College, and physician-surgeon, specialist in Public Health, UC.

She is a tenured professor in the UC Department of Public Health. In addition, she works as a consultant for international organizations, as well as the Chilean Ministries of Health and Social Development.

She was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council for Childhood Policies of Chile and of the Presidential Commission "Woman, Work and Maternity" of Chile.

His line of research is focused on health policies and services, with an emphasis on child and adolescent mental health, complementary therapies, and ethical aspects of public health. He has more than 50 publications in scientific journals and book chapters in his field.
