Dr Paul Taylor CSC, MBChB, LLM, FRCSEd, FACLM, FRACS, FAOA, DMCC is an experienced spinal surgeon. His extensive training in both orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine surgery was gained in Australia and internationally. He has particular expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS), adult deformity surgery and anterior spine surgery.

Paul was educated in England and studied medicine at Sheffield University winning the Riker Prize. After moving to Australia, Paul trained in orthopaedic surgery and gained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009 undergoing advanced level training in well-known centres for spine surgery in Europe. In Bristol he trained with orthopaedic and neurosurgical departments before moving to Europe’s largest spine deformity surgery centre at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London later working in the leading neurosurgical training hospital The Walton Centre in Liverpool, working exclusively in complex spine surgery, finally working in one of India’s most prestigious centres for spine surgery. Paul then commenced his private practice at The Mount Hospital in 2011.
