Paul Hebert

Dr. Paul Hebert has been the head of the Department of Medicine at CHUM since June 2013. He is also the Director of the Canadian Critical Care Research Network. His research has focused on common clinical practices and has had important and tangible effects on the quality of care. We will also host the CHUM, the coordinating center for this network of high-performing researchers. It will help our researchers take advantage of the opportunities announced in the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Patient-Oriented Research Strategy. In addition to his responsibilities as head of department, Dr. Hébert will actively participate in the academic mission of the CHUM and the Université de Montréal as a full professor in the Department of Medicine and as a researcher at CRCHUM.
