Paul E. Wakely, Jr MD

Dr. Wakely is a board-certified anatomic pathologist specializing in head/neck and soft tissue/bone surgical pathology as well as cytopathology. He has been in practice since 1983, and is a tenured professor in the Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He’s the former director of the cytopathology fellowship, and currently serves as director of the head/neck & soft tissue/bone divisions in anatomic pathology, and as a Co-Investigator for the Pathology Core of the OSU Thyroid Cancer P01 grant. He is recipient of the 2014 Yolanda Oertel Interventional Cytopathologist Award and various teaching awards from The Ohio State University.
