Paul Dargan is professor of clinical toxicology at King's College London and a consultant physician and clinical toxicologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
Paul has an active research and teaching programme, with a focus on recreational drug toxicity, new psychoactive substances, self-poisoning and heavy metal toxicity. He leads on many projects with collaborators in the UK, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. He has had over £1.6M of research funding in the last five years and frequently presents both new research and keynote lectures at international conferences. He has published over 240 peer-reviewed papers and numerous book chapters.
