Paul Dai PhD

Dr. Paul Dai served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KAEDI since February 2015. In 2015, Dr. Paul Dai co-founded Nanjing KAEDI Biotech Inc, a biopharmaceutical company, with Dr. Xiong, a returnee from USA. He served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from its founding until now. Less than one year, the KAEDI company successfully developed the technology platform of fourth generation of leukemia and solid tumor CAR-T, declared 5 patents. Animal experiment, A round financing of 10 million, clinical cooperation and other issues was also going well. At the same time, CAR, CARTANK and many antigen target CAR-Ts were also enter the cells test phases .

Dr. Paul Dai obtained his PhD degree in Biology from Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2008 to 2012, Dr. Paul served as a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences and department of Neuroscience at the University of California. In addition, he also served as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Illinois. His main research in the United States includes: physical immunity and heart disease;Neural development and GPCR receptor function; the research of pathogenesis and gene regulation of ovarian cancer and breast cancer. He has been published in international academic journals, including nine papers with the cumulative impact factor more than 50, one of which published in the "Science" magazine "the world's top journals."

From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Paul Dai served as Director of Gene Public Service Dept, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, Director of R&D, Senior Project Manager, intermediate Training Lecturer of GenScript, in Nanjing, China, and won 2013 Outstanding Contribution Award in GenScript and Gold Mouse Award of Shanghai Model Organism Research Center.
