Paul D. Tortland DO, FAOASM, RMSK

Dr. Paul Tortland founded Valley Sports Physicians in 1995 upon the completion of his Sports Medicine Fellowship, and he has been a leader and pioneer in the Connecticut medical profession since. Raised in Stamford, CT, Dr. Tortland completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Connecticut, where he earned his Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. He worked for two years both as a marriage and family therapist in his own private practice and also taught at the University of Connecticut Avery Point campus before starting medical school.
