Paul C. Jutte MD, PhD

Dr. Paul Jutte MD Ph.D. is an orthopedic surgeon since 2004. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology in Bologna (Italy) (2003) and Los Angeles (USA) (2005). His Ph.D. was on spinal tuberculosis (2006). His present position is head of the department of orthopedic surgery (A/Prof) at University Medical Center Groningen, The Netherlands. He founded a regional clinical network for orthopedic infections and holds several chair positions. His current work is aimed at minimizing tissue damage, improving the safety and efficacy of surgical treatment of tumors and infections. He published over 150 peer-reviewed papers (H-factor 26) and is the co-program leader of MBM (Man Biomaterials Microbes), a research line at W.J. Kolff Institute at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
