Paul Andrew Baker

Dr Baker was born and educated in Auckland. He completed specialty training in Anaesthesia in 1986 and has been a consultant Anaesthetist at Auckland Hospital and Starship Children’s Health since then.

His private practice involves adult and paediatric anaesthesia in orthopaedics, ENT, laparoscopic surgery and gynaecology. His special interest is in teaching and researching the management of the difficult airway, for which he has established the AirwaySkills courses in Australia and New Zealand
