Dr. Patty Hlava experience pain and confusion, although at times it can feel like too much. Experiences such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts can become overwhelming. Therapy provides the opportunity to let go of struggling and move through pain and confusion in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Opening to curiosity about our relationships and ourselves allows us to create new ways of thinking and feeling. In a calm and reflective space, we then allow habitual, reactive patterns to dissolve as we establish a new foundation for enduring happiness and well-being. Working collaboratively, I help people heal wounds from past relationships and events, deepen relationships, enhance self-understanding and self-acceptance, and improve overall quality of life. I help my clients feel more connected with their bodies and attuned to their needs and inner wisdom. My therapeutic style is informed by my belief that we all have the inherent wisdom to use life challenges to grow and heal. My practice is client-centered, blending contemplative, body-centered, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavioral approaches.
