Patrizia D’Alessio studied Medicine and Hematology at the University of Milan and earned her Ph.D. in Haemorheology at the University of Utrecht. After a post-doc at the King’s College in London, she concentrated on molecular mechanisms of cell senescence and developed her research first at the University Rene Descartes in Paris. From 2002-2012 at the University Paris Sud 11, she identified an NCE via bio-guided research on anti-inflammatory natural substances in collaboration with the ICSN (monoterpenes) and a research group of the Fudan University of Shanghai (triterpenes). In 2005 she was granted the National award for innovative research by the ministry of research France and founded the start-up AISA Therapeutics. After the successful multi-centric clinical trial RISTOMED (FP7), she created a line of nutraceuticals and med-cosmetics able to ameliorate the QoL of people experiencing chronic disease and breach in health span. 2019 a book “L'inflammation” and a TED-X at S3 Odeon.
