Dr. Patrick A. Sugrue is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care of the spine and nervous system. With over 19 years of clinical experience, he is recognized for his expertise in treating a wide range of complex spinal conditions, including scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis, and nerve compression disorders, as well as performing advanced spinal and neurosurgical procedures such as microdiscectomy and osteotomy.
Dr. Sugrue earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency training in neurosurgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and holds an active medical license in Illinois.
He serves as a dedicated clinician within Advocate Health / Advocate Medical Group, where he is affiliated with major regional hospitals, including Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.
