Dr. Alexander is board certified in Internal medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology with advanced training and expertise in limb salvage. He is the founder and medical director of the Providence Heart Institute Critical Limb Clinic and specializes in advanced endovascular treatment of severe lower extremity peripheral arterial disease. Through the CLI clinic. Dr. Alexander and colleagues have been able to prevent a large amount of major amputations thus saving limbs and saving lives. Dr. Alexander also holds active board certification in adult echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and physician vascular interpretation. He is an active fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention.
