Patrick A. Treseler MD, PhD

Dr. Patrick Treseler is a Professor Emeritus of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco, with nearly 30 years of experience in diagnostic Hematopathology and General Surgical Pathology. He currently serves as Co-Director of the Clinical Hematopathology Service at UCSF Medical Center, and Assistant Director of the Surgical Pathology service. Since 1999, he is also served as Director of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency Training Program at UCSF. He has special interests in the application of molecular techniques in Hematopathology diagnosis, as well as novel methods to enhance the acquisition of diagnostic competency in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology. He has won numerous teaching awards and was recently elected to the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators at UCSF.
