Patricia K. Farris MD

Dr. Farris is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of experience in research, aesthetics and clinical practice. She is known for her expertise in topical skincare and cosmeceuticals and has lectured and published extensively on the subject. She is a sought after consultant by cosmetic companies where she lends her expertise in new product development, clinical testing and strategic planning. In addition, Dr. Farris is a co-author of the book The Sugar Detox that provides readers with diet and skincare advice to help restore their health and beauty. The Sugar Detox has been featured on Dr. Oz, Access Hollywood Live, Great Day Houston and Better TV and is now in press in over ten countries.

She received her medical degree and completed residency training in dermatology at Tulane University where she served as chief resident. Dr. Farris is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, International Society for Cosmetic Dermatology, American Dermatologic Association and The Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has more than 30 years of clinical and research experience and is an active member of the teaching faculty at Tulane University.
