Patricia Jennings DrPH

Doctor Patricia Jennings has been a faculty member in Physician Assistant Education since 1996 and was the Association of Physician Assistant Programs (APAP) Master Teacher of the Year in 2010. In 2011, she received the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Doctor Jennings was awarded a certificate in Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University and earned her doctorate degree in Public Health from the University of Kentucky. Doctor Jennings practices as a physician assistant in the Center for Comprehensive Care of Immune Deficiency (C3ID) clinic and is an active volunteer with the Virginia Medical Corps. She is also affiliated with the Centers for Disease Control as a trainer for the southeast regions’ STD Prevention and Training Center.
