Paolo Spirito MD

At present, Dr. Paolo Spirito is a Scientific Consultant at the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center of the Policlinico di Monza, Monza, Italy. Dr. Spirito has previously been Director of the Department of Cardiology of the Ente Ospedaliero Ospedali Galliera, in Genoa, Italy for 18 years (from 1988 to 2016), and was formerly Director of the Department of Cardiology of the Ospedale S. Andrea, La Spezia, Italy. For over 5 years, between 1981 and 1990, he worked at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, Bethesda, Maryland, USA, initially as an Associate Fellow and subsequently as a Senior Investigator.
