Paolo Sassu, MD, PhD. Specialistlakare and coordinator of the Hand Transplant Program, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg. Dr Sassu completed two-year fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery in Taiwan, and two-year fellowship in hand surgery at the kleinert Institute, USA. He has more than ten years experience in clinical microsurgery and has authored several articles and book chapters mainly on extremity reconstruction, and toe flaps.
