Paolo Manganotti received a residency in Neurology from the University of Verona, Italy, in 1993 and a PhD degree in Neuroscience from the University of Verona, Verona, Italy, in 1999. In 1994 he was a Research Scientist in the Harvard Medical School, Epilepsy Unit, Boston, and in 1995 he had a fellowship from the National Institute of Health, Bethesda. In 1998, he joined the University of Verona as Assistant Professor. He is currently a Professor and the Director of the Department of Medicine, Surgery and Health Sciences, Clinical Neurology Unit, University Hospital, Trieste, Italy. He is co-author of more than 140 peer-reviewed journal papers. His research interests include clinical neurophysiology, neuroimaging and translational research combining different techniques (EEG, fMRI and TMS) in stroke, epilepsy and neurological rehabilitation.
