Paolo Guido gowns is Professor of Cardiology, Director of the School of Specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases, University Vita-Salute San Raffaele Hospital and Head of the Center for Myocardial Diseases Istituto Scientifico Universitario San Raffaele.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1974 at the University of Pisa, where he also specialized in Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine.
From 1985 to 1991 he was Director of Research at the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the National Research Council at the University of Pisa. From 1991 until 2010.
