Panteleimon Rompolas PhD

Rompolas earned his B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Athens, Greece in 2001. He then moved to New Haven, CT where he worked as a Laboratory Technologist at Ikonisys Inc. until 2003. Rompolas earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science and an M.B.A. in Management from the University of Connecticut in 2009. As a graduate student Rompolas studied dynein function in cilia in the lab of Dr. Stephen King. In the Greco Lab Rompolas established intravital microscopy to study the behavior of stem cells in vivo. Rompolas was supported by the Brown-Coxe Fellowship and is now a New York Stem Cell Foundation - Druckenmiller fellow.
