Pamela Jarrett MD, FRCPC, FACP

Dr. Pamela Jarrett is a geriatrician in the Department of Geriatric Medicine, Horizon Health Network in Saint John New Brunswick since 1994. She was Clinical Department Head of Geriatric Medicine from 1999 to 2010. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie and Memorial Universities. She completed her undergraduate studies in Science at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton and attended Medical School at Dalhousie University. She completed her Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine Fellowships at Dalhousie University 1994.

In addition to her clinical work, she is involved with teaching medical students, and allied health professionals in geriatric medicine. She is also a clinical researcher with a focus on dementia, geriatric programs and alternate level of care patients in hospital. She has been involved in numerous clinical trials in the treatment of dementia and has published numerous abstracts and papers in a variety of areas in Geriatric Medicine. She is also a researcher with the Canadian Consortium of Neurodegeneration in aging.
