Pablo Vial MD

Dr. Pablo A. Vial, MD is a Managing Director at the Development University. He works as a clinician in the area of ​​pediatric infectious diseases with a special interest in viral diseases and emerging infections. He teaches virology and has participated in Immunization Advisory Commissions, hantavirus, and various emerging infections in the Ministry of Health of Chile. His area of ​​research interest is epidemiology and pathogenesis of viral infections and he has worked on the epidemiological and clinical characterization of hantavirus infection, contributing to the development of knowledge of disease mechanisms, diagnostic methods, and clinical trials with possible treatments.
