Pablo Perez Martínez MD, PhD

Dr Perez-Martinez is Professor of Medicine at the University of Cordoba, Spain and Medical Staff in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Reina Sofia University Hospital, Spain. His major research interests focus on the different factors predisposing to cardiometabolic diseases and how they may interact to influence clinical outcomes.

In the last years, his fields of study have included genetics and environmental factors, with special emphasis on diet and particularly on the gene-diet interaction to determine those factors influencing cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome and aging.
