Dr. P. Vijaya Krishnan is Consultant ENT Surgeon and Head of the Department of Snoring & Sleep Disorders at Madras ENT Research Foundation, Chennai.

MERF was one of the first centers to start a sleep laboratory in Chennai. It has facilities for Polysomnography to monitor sleep disorders like Snoring & Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome (OSAS) and Drug Induced Sleep Endoscopy to identify the level of obstruction.

Latest Technology, Coblation is used for performing Palatal, Tongue base and maxillomandibular surgeries including Genioglossus and Hyoid Advancement for patients with heroic snoring and OSAS.

Dr Krishnan is one of the Scientific Advisory Committee members of the World Sleep Society (WSS) and International Scientific Committee member of the World Sleep Congress 2019, Vancouver. He is the Founder Secretary of the Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnoea (IASSA).
