Ozan Bozkurt MD, FEBU

Dr. Ozan Bozkurt is a Lecturer of the Urology Department of the Faculty of Medicine of Dokuz Eylul University (DEÜ) developed a method for the treatment of urethral stenosis (stenosis of the urinary tract) resulting from prostate surgery, catheter use, trauma or falling and causing burning, pain, and difficulty during urination.

Bozkurt and his team, who opened the canal by transferring the piece from the mouth to the bladder neck, have operated on 7 patients with this method in 2 years and obtained positive results from all of them.

Bozkurt’s treatment method, called the technique he developed “Tissue Transplantation Method in Urethra Stenosis”, was published in the internationally respected scientific journal “Urologia Internationalis” and announced to the world.

His research interests are Urology, Prostate Cancer, Kidney Tumors, Bladder Tumors, Testicular Tumors, Reconstructive Urology, and Uro-oncology.
