Osman Erol Hayran

Osman Erol Hayran (Turkey) is a Graduated as medical doctor from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in Ankara and completed residency program on Public Health at the same University. He has been working as a public health academician since 1987. He is the founder of School of Health Sciences of the Universities of Marmara and Yeditepe and worked as Dean during 1995-2013. He had a voluntary faculty position at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine between the years 2006 and 2012. He is the author of six books on Public Health and Health Management, and several articles published in peer reviewed international and national journals. He presented several papers in scientific meetings and participated as coordinator or participant in many research projects. His major areas of interest are, Social Medicine, Healthcare Policies, Health Management and Epidemiology. He has been working as the Head of the Department of Public Health at the ?stanbul Medipol University School of Medicine since 2013
