Dr. Osama O. Zaidat is currently working as Neuroscience and Stroke Medical Director at St. Vincent Medical Center - Mercy Health. He is specialized in Psychiatry Neurology and Vascular Neurology. His clinical interests are General Neurology, Spinal Disorder, Vascular Neurology, and Interventional Neurology. Dr. Zaidat contributed to the field from its inception with more than 250 peer-reviewed publications in the field of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes in prestigious scientific journals. He introduced the First Pass Effect concept in mechanical thrombectomy and led the Revascularization Grading Consensus group.
