Orrin M. Troum MD, MACR

Dr. Orrin M. Troum is Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and is a past president of the Southern California Rheumatology Society (1999–2000).

Dr Troum is a member of the imaging group for the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) rheumatoid arthritis (RA) clinical trials task force. He has been selected as a reviewer in the RA category for the ACR annual scientific meetings. His clinical research focuses on psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthritis, and RA, including modern imaging as well as gout, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. He has more than 30 years of clinical research experience as the principal investigator in over 100 clinical trials.

Dr Troum started his rheumatology private practice in Santa Monica, CA, in 1986 and joined The Doctors of St John’s multispecialty group, affiliated with Providence St John’s Health Center, Santa Monica, CA, in 2015 and is a member of their board of directors.
