Oren Amichai Friedman MD

Dr. Oren A. Friedman is a physician with extensive training in internal medicine who is currently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also specializes in pulmonary disease. The physician spent most of his career in the medical intensive care unit, where he introduced and helped create a variety of novel critical care technologies, including the use of point-of-care echo and ultrasound, improved airway management, and a wide range of innovative treatments. Dr. Friedman played a crucial role in expanding the technique of therapeutic hypothermia after cardiac arrest and strengthening the institution's resuscitation practices prior to joining Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital.
