Ong Shihui

Ms Ong Shihui is currently a Nurse Clinician working in SGH Major Operating Theatre. She started her training as a ward nurse in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (PRAS) and later developed an interest in the specialized field of peri-operative nursing. She works closely with other members of the surgical team such as surgeons, anaesthetists, patients and family members to ensure surgery is done safely and smoothly. She participated in numerous medical missions and has served in countries such as Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and China. She also volunteered in Singapore Grand Prix as medical team since 2001.
