Omur Gokmen Sevindik MD

Prof. Dr. Omur Gokmen Sevindik graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of English Medicine in 2005 and received the title of Doctor of Medicine. He completed his education at Dokuz Eylul University Department of Internal Medicine between 2005 and 2010 and received the title of Internal Medicine Specialist. Subsequently, between 2011 and 2015, he completed his Hematology subspecialty training at Dokuz Eylül University Internal Medicine Department of Hematology and received the title of Hematology Specialist. During his hematology specialization training, he had the chance to work with world-renowned experts on plasma cell diseases (Multiple Myeloma, Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia, Amyloidosis, Light and Heavy Chain Storage Diseases and POEMS Syndrome) at Mayo Clinic America in 2014.

Dr. received the title of Associate Professor in 2017 and Professor in 2022. Omur Gokmen Sevindik currently serves his patients in the Hematology Department of Medipol University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.

Prof. Dr. Omur Gokmen Sevindik is a member of the Turkish Hematology Association, the European Hematology Association and the American Society of Hematology. He has 6 awards received in various scientific activities, more than 50 articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and more than 200 papers presented at national and international scientific congresses. His special interests are Bone Marrow Cancers and he is the Chairman of the Multiple Myeloma Scientific Subcommittee of the Turkish Hematology Association.
