Omer Dizdar MD

He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. He completed his specialty training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Diseases between 2000-2005, and his subspecialty training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Medical Oncology between 2005-2009. She received the title of associate professor in 2011 and a professorship in 2017. During his internal medicine residency training in 2004, Prof. Dr. Şeref Zileli-Successful Assistant of the Year Award was presented to Prof. Dr. He received the Nijad Bilge Award and the Turkish Medical Oncology Association Oncology Research Award in 2012 and 2018. Between 2016 and 2020, he served as the Chief Physician of Hacettepe University Oncology Hospital, He served as a member of the Hacettepe University Clinical Research Ethics Committee between 2020-2022. prof. Dr. Ömer Dizdar currently works at Hacettepe University Cancer Institute Medical Oncology and Preventive Oncology Department and is a Board Member of Hacettepe University Cancer Institute. He is interested in the treatment of gastrointestinal (colon, rectum, liver, stomach) and genitourinary (kidney, bladder, testis) tumors, melanoma, breast cancer, bone, and soft tissue sarcomas, and genetic counseling in familial cancers.
