Omer Afsin Ozmen MD, PhD

Dr. Omer Afsin Ozmen graduated from Ordu Anatolia High School in 1993 and from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty Department of English Medicine in 2000. After earning his specialist title In 2005, in Hacettepe University Medical Faculty Department of Otorhinolaryngology, he completed his fellowship in the field of otology neurotology for one year. He began to work at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine Department of Otorhinolaryngology in 2007. In 2010, he became assistant professor and associate professor in 2012. Between 2008 and 2014, he received his PhD degree from the Physiology Department of the Faculty of Medicine at Uludag University and earned his PhD degree. In 2010, he studied at Gruppo Otologico otology neurotology and cranial base surgery center in Italy for two months. In 2015, he visited the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Departments of Otology Neurotology, Vestibular Disorders, Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery, and Cranial Base Surgery as Visiting Clinical Observer for two months. He teaches undergraduate and graduate Otorhinolaryngology courses.
