Omar Pathmanaban PhD

Omar Pathmanaban trained in London, Manchester, Oxford and Toronto, including fellowships with world-leading experts in microsurgery, minimally invasive endoscopic surgery and radiosurgery of the skull base and brain. As the winner of several prestigious travelling fellowships, he has further expanded his experience as a visiting scholar at preeminent international centres of excellence. Omar has won many national and international awards, including the Norman Dott Gold Medal for the most outstanding performance amongst graduating Neurosurgeons in the UK and Ireland Royal College Examinations.

He provides specialist care for patients with complex tumours and abnormalities in difficult to reach areas at the base of the brain. Traditional open brain surgery as well as the latest minimally invasive techniques are used to optimally treat patients with challenging problems at the base of the skull, brain, pituitary gland and junction of the brain and spine.
