Oluwakemi Onajin MD

Dr. Oluwakemi Onajin is a dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatopathologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, mucosal, hair, and nail diseases. Her research interests include clinical-pathologic correlation and its utility in improving the diagnostic accuracy of dermatologic diseases. She is also interested in the study of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, and hair disorders. 

As a clinician, her interests include skin cancer, connective tissue diseases, autoimmune bullous diseases, ethnic and pigmented skin and hair disorders, and tropical skin diseases. Her research has been published in Clinical Advances in Hematology & Oncology, Dermatologic Surgery, the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the International Journal of Dermatology. 

Dr. Onajin received her MD from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. She completed her internship in medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem, as well as a residency in dermatology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. She also completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
