Oliviero Bruni MD

Oliviero Bruni is Full Professor in Child Neurology and Psychiatry in the Dept. of Developmental and Social Psychology, Sapienza University, Rome. He is founder and Past-President of the International Pediatric Sleep Association, Field Editor (Pediatrics) of the journal Sleep Medicine past-member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Association of Sleep Medicine and was elected as Chair of the Childhood Sleep Disorders and Development Section of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). He has been secretary of the European Pediatric Sleep Club of the European Sleep Research Society and has been also involved, as Pediatric Sleep Advisor of the World Health Organization, for the development of Night Noise Guidelines and ICF.

He organized, acted as Faculty member and participated as invited lecturer in several International Congresses. He is currently involved in the Scientific Committees of the AASM; European Sleep Research Society and World Sleep Society. He has been involved in sleep research and clinical care in children for over 25 years and has published more than 180 peer-reviewed papers, in addition to books, several book chapters and abstracts
