Mr Olivier Alexandre Branford is an Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon specialising in non-surgical and surgical cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Mr Branford has a special interest in breast microsurgical reconstruction surgery which consists of rebuilding the breasts using the patient’s own skin, fat and/or muscle. Mr Branford has performed over 300 successful microsurgical procedures and prides himself on the safety and quality of his clinical work. He graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge with a Masters of Arts in Natural Sciences and went on to continue his studies at Royal Free Hospital of Medicine, followed by University of London, which is where he received his PhD in tissue engineering in plastic surgery.
Mr. Olivier Branford During this time he was awarded a Surgical Research Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has published over 50 articles in plastic surgery journals, and a number of book chapters. Mr Branford’s plastic surgery training has taken place in London, including Mount Vernon Hospital, The Royal Free Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, and The Royal Marsden Hospital.
After having completed his specialist aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery training programme in a number of major hospitals in London for a period which lasted over 6 years, he has undertaken fellowships in breast, head and neck and limb microsurgical reconstruction. Mr Branford has also been involved in overseas work with the Royal College of Surgeons, which saw him teaching surgical skills in El Salvador, Central America.
