Okan Ekinci MD, MBA

Okan is the Chief Medical Officer in Roche DIS, an organization focused on decision support solutions, powered by aggregated data and advanced analytics, in support of Roche’s personalized healthcare (PHC) strategy. He brings along 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, among which eight years of clinical practice in cardiology. He worked previously at Siemens Healthineers, where he was most recently Global Head of the Healthcare Consulting business, a unit that offers data-driven, digitally-enabled transformation and clinical consulting services. Prior to that, he established the Global Medical Office of Healthineers and served as its first CMO. He is an adjunct professor of medicine at University College Dublin Medical School, Ireland. Okan holds an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin, Germany, and an MD from the University of Mainz, Germany. He studied Medicine in Turkey, Germany and the USA.
