Dr. Tomescu is a Primary Care Internal Medicine Resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical focus is the interaction between emotional, spiritual, and physical health and she uses a biopsychosocial approach to healthcare delivery. Her current research interests involve studying the concept of physician wellness and exploring strategies that help bolster empathy and prevent burnout during medical training.
In addition to her training in adult Internal Medicine, she also takes care of teens and young adults at both the Adolescent Clinic affiliated with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as at Covenant House with Dr. Ginsburg.
